JLA-250D is a compact amplifier module designed for subwoofer applications. It uses an aluminum heat spreader under the PCB which makes it easy to be retrofitted in the amplifier section of a busted plate amp or an old power amp. Operating temperature is good and can be placed inside a speaker cabinet with no external ventilation.
Capable of high current output for subwoofer duties, the bass is cleaner and more powerful than single chip, single supply amplifiers, and other class-d amps with aggressive current limiting protections. No feeling of restrained performance and will drive the subwoofer to its real capability.
It uses high current, low loss ferrite core output inductor which is suitable for subwoofers and other high power duties.
Each JLA-250D is tested for its rated output power* for 10 seconds, powered-on idling for an hour, and then retested again to guarantee a fault-free product.
* Output power tested with +/- 75V DC rails, 1kHz at 4 ohms load
